Here’s to Human Connections

Hey there, reflection. Welcome back to another entry here on Nature’s Journal. I’m your diarist, Jeneska.

Today, I want to reflect on something that’s been weighing on my mind—my struggle to form connections with others as quickly as some seem to. Being introverted doesn’t mean I don’t value relationships, but it often feels like I’m navigating a slower path than those around me. And that’s okay, but I’m realizing that connection, even in its slow growth, is still necessary for my well-being.

So, for the month of October, I’ve decided to step out of my comfort zone and embrace newness through new connections. I want to challenge myself to welcome more people into my life, to reach out more intentionally.

Have you ever found yourself at this same crossroad? What did you learn about yourself and others in the process? And do you feel like the digital age has made it harder for us to form meaningful connections, despite being so ‘connected’ all the time?
